I need to be able to see what your pet looks like in the pose you want. Feel free to send as many photographs as you like, one should show the true colours. Flash pictures tend to wash out markings, but with your help I can work miracles from the worst of photographs. Eyes often change colour in photographs, and you may need to describe the them to me.
Here are some tips that will help you take the best pictures of your pet :

1.
Try to get in close to your pet the more detail the better. Always take extra close-ups of the face.
2.
Take the photographs at your pet's level or put him on a chair or table. It may be helpful to have someone distract your pet while you photograph him.
3.
Outdoor lighting is best but flash is acceptable. Try to get accurate color. The photographs should be clear and accurate as possible.
Remember that the finished portrait depends on the quality of the photographs that you send me but I can work from any photo if need be.

Step 1:
To begin your commission, please email me a large photo of the subject you wish painted.

Step 2:
I will prepare your portrait and submit a final-proof to you via e-mail for your approval.

Step 3:
Only when you approve of your custom portrait, is your art work printed signed and embossed with a seal, guaranteeing authenticity. Your work is carefully packaged and then shipped. Payment for your portrait is due at this time.
